I provide perinatal support for women from pregnancy through postpartum. Providing support and information from a holistic perspective, as pregnancy and birth are very much a whole person experience.

During pregnancy I provide support, education and information for a healthy pregnancy. In our prenatal meetings we will become acquainted and explore and discuss your priorities and any fears or concerns, and plan how we all might best work together. I will support you through your birth process at your chosen place of birth. I am independent and self-employed meaning I work for you and your support will be individual for what you and your family need. I provide continued support up to 6 weeks postpartum as you and your baby get to know each other.

Course of support through various situations:

First time mothers: 6 prenatal visits, the birth, 3 visits postpartum with 6 weeks of availability and contact

VBAC mothers: 6 prenatal visits, the birth, 3 visits postpartum with 6 weeks of availability and contact

New clients with previous births: 4-5 prenatal visits, the birth, 2-3 visits postpartum with 6 weeks of availability and contact

Repeat clients: 4 prenatal visits, the birth, 2 visits postpartum with 6 weeks of availability and contact

Postpartum birth consult

Sometimes processing your birth story can be difficult. In this session we review your experience at your own pace, using tools such as heartmath to support your journey. We will discuss other tools and processes you might like to use to thrive in the postpartum. Learn ideas  to reconnect and communicate with your new baby.

Parenting a newborn 101
Confidence & Connection for parenting a newborn.

Postpartum support for the new family.

The perinatal period also includes those weeks and months after baby comes. I provide a safe place to ask questions, review your birth and support you as you learn about being a new parent. Often times families are so focused on the birth that they almost forget they are bringing home a brand new human. Perhaps your pregnancy and birth did not go as you expected and now you are unsure of what to do next. Healing and well-ness in the postpartum period can include learning about how to nutrition, anxiety, and support can all have an impact.  If you would like to learn more please message. If it is the first week postpartum I can do home visits.

Prenatal birth consult Refresh & Review for your upcoming birth. In this session we will cover what you really need to know for your upcoming labour and birth. If you have already birthed this session might review your previous birth and talk about what you might want to do differently this time. You may have questions or concerns that you just need to talk about. You may want some help putting together your birth plan. Partners are welcome at these informative sessions.

Private prenatal 
These mini prenatal sessions will cover the basics of labour, birth and the immediate postpartum. We will focus on your individual situation and what you need to know for your birth. We will cover what baby wants, the normal biology of birth, common interventions, the golden first hour and more. Partners are encouraged to come and learn how they can be a good support during birth. 

2-3 sessions $275.00

Prenatal on call availability– If you are just looking for some support around your birth period we can plan what kind of support and information you are looking for. We can set weekly or daily calls/texts/emails. We can also plan for 1 or 2 in person/virtual prenatal visits. I will be available to answer questions for the 2 weeks before  and 2 weeks after your Estimated Due Date. 

Prenatal on call $300.00

Birth on call availability– This option is for mothers who may want support during the birth process. This is available if we have previously meet in person/virtual and talked about options and what you are looking for. I will be available for birth support in person or virtual, there will be an agreement to sign. I will be available in the weeks surrounding your Estimated Due Date.  Postpartum support after birth

if you would like help and support after baby comes this may entail: providing support in the immediate postpartum, providing in home support the first day, and being available during the first week postpartum for in home/virtual/ call/text support.
